Becky Horton joined the Doctor of Physical Therapy program in the Summer of 2025. Instructional Leadership: Serves as a primary instructor for Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) students, with core teaching responsibilities in connective tissue disorders, motor control, pediatric and neurologic rehabilitation. Designs and delivers evidence-based content that bridges clinical expertise with academic theory. Professional Practice Integration: Leverages over 20 years of clinical experience and Board Certification in Neurologic Physical Therapy to mentor students in clinical decision-making and practical skill application. Research & Collaboration: Continue to advance clinical practice through ongoing research involvement in shoulder proprioception in persons with and without hypermobility, and interdisciplinary collaboration within a professional practice contract. Clinical Practce: She continues to practice periodically at M Health Fairview's Saint Paul Neurologic Rehab Clinic and M Health Fairview Acute Rehailitation Center. Areas expertise include movement disorders (Parkinsons Disease), neurological degenerative conditions (MS, ALS, muscular dystrophy), vestibular disorders (concussion, BPPV, vestibular hypofunction), and connective tissue disorders (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, generalized hypermobility).Â
