Leah W. Wells is an Assistant Professor in Public Health whose teaching and professional interests span a variety of public and global health topics, with a particular interest in connecting global and local perspectives on health. She brings two decades of experience in higher education, with a background in applied learning, community food access, and nutrition services. Her global health experience includes developing and implementing community-based nutrition programming through a USAID-funded project that served 65 communities in Liberia. Her teaching emphasizes mentorship, experiential learning, and engagement with complex public health issues and perspectives.
